With the assistance of Jolene Kaneshige Photography Awet orchestrated a surprise proposal on the shores of Waialae Beach that would be etched in their hearts forever.
A month prior to the proposal, Awet collaborated with Jolene Kaneshige Photography, renowned for capturing love amidst Hawaii's paradise. After describing his perfect proposal moment, a romantic aisle adorned with roses and candles while they walked down the beach hand in hand together. Jolene put together the perfect plan to make it happen.
On the big day, as the sun started to dip towards the horizon casting its warm glow over the ocean, Awet's dream unfolded. A path lined with roses and flickering candles was waiting on the beach for him as he led Batseba towards the next chapter of their love story.
The scent of roses filled the air with excitement as our ninja proposal ninja photographer, Jolene used her skills to hide in plain sight while meticulously capturing Awet’s big moment. Following the trail of roses, Batseba's heart raced with anticipation. Little did she know that this path would lead to a life-changing moment. Awet professed his deepest feelings as he dropped to one knee. With the breathtaking scenery as their witness, he asked Batseba “Will you Marry Me?”
Awet and Batseba's romantic proposal at Waialae Beach went off without a hitch! She cried tears of joy as she said “Yes!” and Awet swept her off her feet! Awet placed the ring on Batseba's finger while Jolene captured the raw emotion and joy that filled the air. The sunset not only marked the end of the day but also the beginning of their beautiful journey together.
