An Oahu Proposal Story: K&A

K & A met through his sister and they immediately hit it off! He contacted us 2 months before planning his big day as he wanted everything to be absolutely perfect! After talking to K, his vision was to propose to on a beach during sunset. Imagine getting down on one knee as the sun dips below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. The sound of the waves gently crashing in the background and the salty sea breeze blowing through your hair will make for an unforgettable moment. It truly is one of the most romantic ways to propose in Oahu!
After hearing this we immediately recommended a few of our favorite spots. One of the most popular places to propose in Oahu is Waikiki beach. With its wide white sandy beach, palm trees and clear blue water, it's a great spot for a romantic stroll. You can propose as you watch the sunset over the ocean, making it a truly romantic and memorable moment. Another favorite is Kahala Beach which is a secluded and luxurious spot on the island of Oahu, known for its clear turquoise waters and soft white sands. This hidden gem is tucked away from the busy tourist areas, making it the perfect place for a private and intimate proposal.
After some deliberation, K decided on Kahala beach and our plan was set into motion! He made dinner reservations so on the big day A had an excuse to get all dressed up. Our team of proposal experts were at the location early to set up to fabricate a luxurious rose petal heart and arrange the Marry Me sign. Then we hid and were standing by for the big moment to arrive with our fancy cameras, a drone, and video gear.
The big moment unfolded beautifully as A asked K “Is that for me?” with tears in her eyes. Of course she said “Yes!” and the moment was absolutely perfect. Front one surprise to the next, it all happened so quickly! The sun was setting, the drone was circling over head. K & A enjoyed a guided photo session for engagement portraits by our photographer and videographer and the biggest surprise is that K arranged for their families to stroll down the beach and congratulate them!
