National Red Rose Day
Originally a part of the same week as Valentine’s Day, National Red Rose Day celebrated that symbol of love and romance, the red rose. Along the way, the two days parted ways and are now celebrated separately with Red Rose Day being moved to June 12th. While the origins of this holiday are still unknown, it remains a day to be filled with lots of love, romance, and of course, red roses!!!
How to Celebrate:
Visit a garden or relax in your own garden
Send roses to a loved one
Enjoy a beautiful bouquet of red roses for yourself
Have professional photos of yourself taken surrounded by roses!
Have a red rose preserved.
Press a red rose in a book.
